The employees of the Complaint Examination & Receiving Directorate participated in a workshop organized by the Secretariat-General of Grievances at the Kempinski Hotel on 11 – 12 September 2013, under the theme "Investigator Training Model", presented by Mrs. Pauline McCabi, former Northern Ireland Prisoner Ombudsman. The workshop touched on issues related to the mechanism for monitoring remand centers and prisons, how to receive the complaint and write a brief report on the complaint lodged, and include the most important recommendations in the report.
